Kappōgi is our sturdy sock base, a workhorse merino and nylon blend for comfort, strength, and long lasting wear.
It is soft enough for everyday knits but spun to wear hardy. Whether you are making socks that need to hold up in boots or accessories that get thrown into bags and pulled out a hundred times, this yarn is made to last. Named after kappōgi, a serviceable smock worn over clothing in kitchens and workshops, this base is all about function and reliability while staying beautiful.
NB: These skeins are ready to ship, which means these have been dyed and are in stock, ready to go!
You'll notice some of these are (P) Prototype (iterative batches dyed on the path to becoming a permanent colourway.) or B-Side (batches that while beautiful, were not exactly what we were looking for.)
